Steven Gerrard a anuntat astazi ca pune punct carierei de fotbalist care s-a intins pe durata a 19 ani. Lasa in urma o mostenire uriasa: peste 700 de meciuri, aproape 200 de goluri. Liga Campionilor dupa cea mai spectaculoasa finala.

"Sunt entuziasmat de viitor si simt ca mai am multe de oferit jocului, indiferent de modul in care va fi. Momentan iau o pauza pentru a vedea toate optiunile si voi face un anunt legat de urmatorul pas din cariera in curand" a anuntat Stevie-G.

In lumea fotbalului din Anglia si nu numai au inceput sa 'curga' tributuri pentru unul dintre marii jucatori ai ultimului deceniu. De la fost colegi la rivali, la fani si la media, mesajele au curs pe retelele de socializare.
