Dupa doua zile de tensiuni, astazi am fost martori a ceva ce probabil va ramane in istorie drept o "revolutie in fotbal". Mai mult ca oricand, cluburile mari au inteles acum ca independenta in fotbal nu exista, iar suporterii sunt cei ce fac acest sport sa fie cel mai popular din lume.
Caderea Super Ligii Europei a pornit de la protestul de la Stamford Bridge. Chelsea a fost primul club care a reactionat, iar mai apoi, una cate una, mai toate echipele au inceput sa isi pregateasca iesirea. A urmat un val de demisii, dar si o serie de reactii din partea lumii fotbalistice.
Arsene Wenger a oferit o prima reactie dupa caderea Super Ligii Europene: "Nu sunt surprins ca nu a durat mult. Aceasta competitie a ignorat principiile meritelor sportive. Facand asta, ucizi campionatele nationale, iar fanii nu accepta asta."
